Matan Lamdan

Partner

Matan is a Partner at Striker, where he backs inception-stage founders in cybersecurity, AI, and across Israel’s innovation ecosystem. His career has followed one through-line: finding signal in noise. Whether pinpointing critical intelligence inside Unit 8200, uncovering major stories on Israel’s 60 Minutes, or identifying generational technical teams before revenue, that discipline has guided every chapter.

Prior to Striker, Matan invested with CRV, where he focused on deeply technical, pre-product teams and collaborated with companies such as Trail Security (acquired by Cyera), Vega Security and Kela. He worked closely with founders from first validation through early customer traction, helping teams shape product strategy, early hiring, and narrative.

Earlier in his career, Matan spent a decade in Israel’s intelligence directorate in both technical and intelligence leadership roles. He was awarded Israel’s highest national honor for defense innovation. After leaving government service, he served as an investigative journalist for Israel’s highest-rated news program before moving to the U.S. to complete his MBA at Stanford GSB.
